Kids’ Toolbox for Success Summer Camp offers full day summer programs for students ranging in age from 9-17 years. This day camp serves as an academic and/or social bridge for students on summer break. We have put together a program that is less structured than the one or two week intensive sessions. Students will enjoy fun and interactive exercises in communication and academic enhancement that encourage learning, independence and creativity. The day begins with breakfast when students interact with each and decide which academic enhancement classes they will attend. While the schedule reflects a typical day, each day may be different depending on the students’ choices and when a field trip is scheduled. Field trips may be half-day or all day. Information regarding these excursions will be forthcoming as details are finalized. A notebook will be used to collect each day’s activities with take-home practice materials. Students will provide their own snacks and lunches each day. Snack and drink machines are available for the campers to purchase snacks. Cell phones may be brought to the camp and used for emergencies only. Otherwise, cell phones are expected to be off during camp activities. Parents may contact the Program Administrator for messages. Our goal is for each camper to develop communication and socialization skills for building self-esteem and self-confidence. through positive learning experiences each day.
